This item has been continued by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors to Tuesday, February 25, 2025. More details to follow in the upcoming week.
Hidden Hills, CA – On Sunday, February 16th, at 1:00 p.m., the Hidden Hills City Council—comprised of Mayor Weber, Mayor Pro Tem Loggia, Council Member Gold, and Council Member McCorkindale—held a special meeting to discuss and approve an opposition letter to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors regarding the disposal of fire debris from the Palisades and Eaton Fires at the Calabasas Landfill.
Read Council’s opposition letter, HERE.
The City of Hidden Hills stands in full support of the City of Calabasas and shares serious concerns over the public health risks, environmental impact, and lack of transparency surrounding this issue. The City Council firmly opposes the disposal of any and all fire debris at the Calabasas Landfill, emphasizing the need for greater oversight and responsible decision-making to protect local communities.
