Solar Energy Installations

Solar Energy Installations

Solar Energy Installations

California Assembly Bill 2188 amended the California Solar Rights Act to require that every city create an expedited, streamlined permitting process for small residential rooftop solar systems. The purpose of the law is to further State policy of promoting and encouraging the installation and use of solar energy systems by limiting obstacles to their use and minimizing the permitting costs of such systems.  The City of Hidden Hills has created the following forms to help the applicant with the permitting process for Small Residential Rooftop Solar Systems.
