I am a native of the New York Metropolitan area who came to California for my graduate education in 1992. My family and I have lived in Hidden Hills for 19 years.
I hold a Juris Doctor from the University of California, a Master of Science in Real Estate Valuation and Analysis from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Hofstra University. I spent three years with dynastic masters at Yosan University studying Traditional Chinese Medicine. I studied Philosophy and Archeology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem for one year. Additionally, I am a recent graduate of the Trial Lawyers College.
As an entrepreneur, I created the company ExamSoft, which invented the software and processes that administer, score, and provide cyber security for the modern Bar Exam nationwide. Almost all states and at least 150 universities with law schools acquired my software program. I then created a national proctoring network, which required curriculum development and training of 100s of IT professionals to support my program at all the different exam sites.
During the second half of my professional career, I have been an education attorney for disabled children with Education Justice Law, my public interest law firm. I work in over one hundred school districts across the state.
I am an active author, teacher, musician, and avid student of history and government.
I am also a founding board member of the Prison Lights Foundation. My writings, work, and accomplishments are in national publications and local news sources like the Wall Street Journal, LA Times, Good Day LA/KTLA, podcasts, The Journal of Legal Education, and various legal newspapers.
