We want to provide you with an update regarding a burglary that occurred last night, September 26th, in Hidden Hills.
At 8:55 p.m. Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station received a 911 call reporting a possible burglary in progress. LASD deputies responded quickly and observed broken glass at a rear window and believe entry and exit were made through that opening. No one was home at the time. Deputies conducted a thorough search of the area; however, no suspects were located. At this time, it is unknown if any property was taken.
We will share additional updates as more information becomes available.
Burglary Safety Tips
We encourage all residents to remain vigilant and consider the following safety practices:

- Keep doors and windows locked at all times, even when you are home.
- Set your home alarm system when leaving, even for short periods.
- Use outdoor lighting and motion-sensor lights to deter suspicious activity.
- Do not leave valuables visible through windows.
- Report any suspicious persons, vehicles, or activity immediately to LASD Lost Hills Station.
- If traveling, let a trusted neighbor know and consider notifying the City or HOA security.
- Take advantage of security patrols and consider installing cameras if you have not already done so.
