Wildfire is a reality in our region, and preparation is key. As a Firewise Community, Hidden Hills is part of a program that brings neighbors together with local, state, and federal partners to strengthen wildfire safety in the wildland/urban interface.

The City of Hidden Hills is inviting all residents to a Community Wildfire Mitigation Event designed to give you practical knowledge and resources to better protect your home and family.

We’ll tackle important questions, such as:
•  What Firewise Community recognition means for you as a resident?
•  How being a recognized Firewise Community affects insurance rates and options?
•  Home hardening and defensible space tips. Is it even an option anymore?
•  What activities qualify as “Firewise,” and is there a clear list?
•  What role does the Los Angeles County Fire Department play in protecting our homes during a wildfire?
•  How to obtain a FREE professional fire assessment of your property?

Please join members of your City Council, Los Angeles County Fire, and the City’s Firewise Consultant at this important community event and leave with the tools and insights you need to make informed decisions about wildfire safety.
