Traffic Alert: Round Meadow Elementary Back to School

August 18, 2025

Wednesday, August 20th is the first day of school in the Las Virgenes Unified School District and Round Meadow Elementary will be open for the school year.

Traffic congestion in front of the school is expected during pick-up and drop-off times, from 7:45 a.m. – 8:00am and 2:00 p.m. – 2:40 p.m. Monday thru Friday and from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Wednesdays. Please avoid the area during these high traffic times if possible.

Hidden Hills residents with Round Meadow students are asked to park inside the gate and walk their children to campus. Please remember to be patient, drive slowly and cautiously in school zones. The Sheriff’s Department will strictly enforce all traffic laws. Traffic at elementary schools is often challenging, especially during the first few weeks of school as students and parents adjust to a new schedule. The City and School District will monitor the traffic flow and make any necessary adjustments.

  • Remember to park parallel, not angled, in the parkways.
  • Children may not enter or exit a vehicle that is stopped in the street.
  • Be advised there is no right turn into the Round Meadow School driveway when exiting Round Meadow gate during school hours.
