Thanks to the City’s proactive brush-clearing efforts and the incredible work of our first responders, Hidden Hills remained unharmed by the Kenneth Fire. However, we recognize that some families may still have experienced financial challenges due to the temporary evacuation.

The Disaster Declaration for the Palisades Fire includes “subsequent fires,” meaning the Kenneth Fire qualifies for FEMA assistance. If you or your family incurred expenses during the evacuation—such as hotel or lodging costs—you may be eligible for reimbursement. Claims can be submitted online through the FEMA portal or in person at the Fire Resource Center in Westwood.
