As our city has evolved, so have our challenges. A big thank you to all who joined us for the city’s Public Safety Event on April 30th. The Hidden Hills theater was packed with residents expressing their concern about the historically low staffing levels at our local law enforcement agencies, while learning about a new public safety program initiated by the City Council that strengthens the city’s defenses against crime and enhances preparedness for any looming emergency – fostering a safer city for all.
If you missed the event, the presentation covered:
-
- The City Council’s proactive measures to enhance the city’s crime prevention and emergency management efforts.
- The introduction of Michael Grant, the City’s new Public Safety Manager.
- Law enforcement challenges and available resources for a more connected community.
- An overview of national and local crime statistics and what the city and association are doing to keep your family safe.
- Essential home fortification steps.
- Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) engagement, and future training opportunities.
