California has reopened following Gov. Gavin Newsom’s executive action to terminate the State’s Stay-at-Home Order and tiered Blueprint for a Safer Economy. The County of Los Angeles has aligned with the state’s updated protocols and has issued a new public health order which addresses updated guidance on face coverings from the California Department of Public Health.
Effective June 15th, 2021:
Mask requirements for fully vaccinated Californians are lifted, with the exception of uniquely vulnerable settings including hospitals, long-term care facilities, homeless shelters, and public transit. Additionally, restaurants, shopping malls, movie theaters, and most everyday places will be open as normal with no capacity limits or social distancing required. Learn more at covid19.ca.gov.
