Watch the Informational Update from Best Best & Krieger Regarding Cemetery Project Within City of Los Angeles
Previous Updates and Information
A 16-page letter and informational packet from the City of Hidden Hills and the Hidden Hills Community Association was mailed to every resident providing detailed information about the project.

In addition, the City Manager, on behalf of the City Council, contacted Dignity Memorial to inquire whether there were any circumstances under which they would sell the property or land. Dignity Memorial responded that they have no intention of selling or transferring ownership of any portion of the site.
The City of Los Angeles website shows that on October 22nd, a new permit application was submitted to the City of Los Angeles that appears to relate to the former Boething Nursery site being redeveloped as a cemetery.

Submitting Feedback on the Cemetery Project
The proposed cemetery is located within the City of Los Angeles, which is the only agency with authority over land use decisions related to the project. The City of Hidden Hills and the Hidden Hills Community Association are not decision-making bodies in the process, so it is vital that your comments are directed properly as noted in our letter to the community last month.
If you wish to share comments, email elizabeth.ene@lacity.org.
You may also participate in a Los Angeles City Council meeting at City Hall (John Ferraro Council Chamber, 200 N. Spring St., Room 340) to make public comments. Meetings are typically held Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10:00 a.m. (check the posted agendas for time changes). You may submit written comments through the City Clerk’s Public Comment Portal at: cityclerk.lacity.org/publiccomment.
