City of Hidden Hills
2022 General Municipal Election
November 8, 2022

The City of Hidden Hills will hold a General Municipal Election on November 8, 2022 for the purposes of electing three members of the City Council.

Are You Interested in Becoming a City Council Member?

Eligibility
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be a resident of Hidden Hills
• Must be registered to vote in the City of Hidden Hills (Check your voter registration at LA County Voter Registration Status (lavote.gov)

Nomination Timeline
Nomination for City Council office will begin on July 18 and run through August 12. If one or more incumbents do not seek re-election the nomination period will be extended from August 13 – August 17.

Nomination Process
Those interested in running for City Council should contact Deana Gonzalez, City Clerk by calling 818-888-9281 or via e-mail at staff@hiddenhillscity.org. Nomination paperwork will be available on July 18 by appointment. Interested candidates are required to meet with City Clerk in person.

Nomination paperwork includes a nomination petition and requires a minimum of 20 signatures from Hidden Hills registered voters nominating a candidate for office. You may collect up to 30 signatures. The nomination petition is reviewed and verified by the LA County Registrar/Recorders Office. It is highly recommended that those seeking a nomination for City Council collect all 30 signatures and turn in paperwork prior to the deadline mentioned above. If at least 20 of your nomination signatures are not verified, you will be given the opportunity to collect more as long as you meet the deadline of August 12.
