The City of Hidden Hills is proud to introduce its new Little Free Library, now located at City Hall. This charming addition invites residents of all ages to enjoy a simple but meaningful idea embraced by communities around the world: “Take a Book. Share a Book.”
Little Free Libraries are small, publicly accessible book-sharing spaces designed to promote literacy, encourage a love of reading, and strengthen neighborhood connections. Visitors are welcome to take a book to enjoy and, when able, leave a book behind for someone else to discover. There are no rules or due dates, just a shared commitment to reading and community.
Hidden Hills’ Little Library is especially unique. It was thoughtfully built by Hollywood set designer Jonathon Bobbitt and modeled after City Hall, reflecting the character and identity of our community in a creative and personal way.
This new library serves as both a functional resource and a welcoming symbol of connection, reminding us that even small spaces can spark curiosity, conversation, and learning.
Residents are encouraged to stop by City Hall, browse the selection, and participate in this growing tradition.
