A heartfelt thank you to the residents of Hidden Hills for coming out and supporting the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Memorial Torch Relay Run this past Saturday. Your presence and enthusiasm meant a great deal to the runners, and the Sheriff’s Department truly appreciates the amazing support from our community.
Runners began at the Malibu Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station, and ran through Hidden Hills with the torch handoff taking place in front of City Hall.
Coordinated by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Athletic Association, the relay consisted of 56 legs, each 5 to 10 miles long, forming a 313-mile circuit that connects all mainland Sheriff’s Stations. This annual tradition honors the memory of brave and dedicated individuals who lost their lives in service to the citizens of Los Angeles County.
