AMENDMENT TO LOCAL EMERGENCY ORDERS – CITY OF HIDDEN HILLS

WHEREAS, Hidden Hills Municipal Code section 4-2-4 empowers the City Manager, acting as the Director of Emergency Services, to proclaim the existence or threatened existence of a local emergency when the City is exposed to an actual or threatened existence of conditions of disaster or of extreme peril to the safety of persons and property within the City and the City Council is not in session; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager, as Director of Emergency Services of the City of Hidden Hills, does hereby find that:
- On January 8, 2025, the Director of Emergency Services declared a local emergency in response to the Palisades Fire. While the City has experienced danger and evacuations from a second fire in the region on January 9, 2025, the mandatory evacuations have been lifted. The Red Flag Warning issued by the National Weather Service, which indicated critical fire weather conditions, is set to expire on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY PROCLAIMED, that the restrictions on activities implemented in Section 3 of the January 8, 2025, proclamation order are lifted, effective January 10, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
