This CCTV inspection is part of the County’s Condition-Assessment Program to proactively identify any defects in the sewer lines and perform needed repair or maintenance before they become problems. The program’s goal is to improve the quality of our infrastructure and protect public health by preventing sanitary sewer overflows and inconveniences resulting from problems in the sewer lines.
Temporary lane closures and traffic control should be expected, but no road closures are anticipated.
Most of the sewer manholes are within road and trail right of way. However, some are on private property easements. County Public Works will be contacting those properties where the manholes are on private property. In these situations, the contractor and County Public Works employees will only need access to the exterior portions of property to access the manholes. We appreciate your patience and cooperation in providing the contractor and County Public Works employees access to any sewer manholes that may be located on your property.
If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Robert Swartz, Sewer Maintenance Division, at (626) 300-3367 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or City Hall at (818) 888-9281.
